ENHANCING COLLABORATION BETWEEN SUPREME AUDIT INSTITUTION AND ANTI-CORRUPTION BODIES

Virtual roundtable ENHANCING COLLABORATION BETWEEN SUPREME AUDIT INSTITUTION AND ANTI-CORRUPTION BODIES  took place on 23 October 2023.

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC), under the auspices of its Abu Dhabi Declaration Programme, organized a virtual roundtable for relevant authorities from Europe and their institutions, members of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI), with the aim to leverage the knowledge and their experience, and to facilitate and inform decision on enhancing collaborations.

The virtual roundtable sessions broaden discussions on collaborative efforts between supreme audit institutions and relevant anti-corruption bodies at national level by presenting good practices and emerging challenges, taking stock of the UNODC “Practical guide on Enhancing Collaboration between Supreme Audit Institutions and Anti-Corruption Bodies” developed with valuable input from many EUROSAI member countries. The discussions have enabled and will continue to enable further collaborative actions also considering other regional initiatives, notably the European Union, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the recent Group of 20 Compendium of Good Practices in Enhancing the Role of Supreme Audit Institutions in preventing corruption.
