Bilateral visit to the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic

At the invitation of Lubomir Andrassy, ​​President of the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Klešić, the Auditor General of the Republic of Croatia, together with Nediljka Rogošić, Deputy Auditor General, and Lidija Pernar, Assistant Auditor General, paid a bilateral visit to the Supreme Audit Institution of the Slovak Republic on 9 and 10 July 2026.
The meeting discussed the digitalization of audit processes and the use of the IDEA application and the application of artificial intelligence, with a special emphasis on ethics in the application of artificial intelligence tools, both in the work of Supreme Audit Institutions and in audited entities. Experiences were also exchanged regarding strategic planning and monitoring of the performance of Supreme Audit Institutions, in particular the application of key performance indicators (KPIs), and other issues relevant to their work.
The meeting in Bratislava was also a confirmation of the good inter-institutional relationship between the State Audit Office of the Republic of Croatia and the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic, and the basis for its further strengthening and expansion. To this end, further joint activities were agreed both at the bilateral level and in the context of the upcoming EUROSAI Congress, which will be hosted by the Slovak Audit Office in 2027.
