The opening of the Twinning Project in the Republic of Albania

On 6 May 2016 the conference was held In Tirana on the occasion of the opening of the Twinning project "Strengthening the capacity of external audit", which will be jointly implemented by the State Audit Office of the Republic of Poland and State Audit Office of the Republic of Croatia. Once Ivan Klešić, Auditor General of Croatia, Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, President of the State Audit Office of Poland, Romana Vlahutin, Head of the EU Delegation to Albania, Sanja Bujas - Juraga, Croatian Ambassador in Albania and Marek Jeziorski, the Polish Ambassador in Albania expressed their support to the implementation of the project, Wojciech Kutyla, Deputy President of the State Audit Office of Poland and Lidija Pernar, Assistant Auditor General of Croatia, as the leaders of the project, presented the basic components and activities that will be implemented by the experts of both institutions during the two years in the Supreme Audit Institution of Albania.

After the conference, at a reception at the Presidential Palace, Ivan Klešić, Auditor General of the Republic of Croatia, was due to the mentioned project as well as a number of other activities and professional development support to the State Supreme Audit of the Republic of Albania, awarded the medal for Special Social Merits by Bujar Nishani, President of the Republic of Albania.
