Bilateral visit of the delegation of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine

On April 21 and 22, 2026, Mr. Serhii Kliuchka, Deputy Chairman of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, accompanied by Ms. Nataliie Fisai, Director of the Department for Control (Audit) in the field of Intergovernmental Relations, Local Budgets and Regional Development.
Within the framework of the first day of the bilateral visit, in the Central Office in Zagreb, after the introductory part and presentations of both institutions, different topics were discussed: the planning of the audit based on risk assessment and communication with the municipalities; organization of audits involving a large number of local self-government units; the application of audit methodology and ISSAI standards and the organization of the auditor's work while reducing the administrative burden and establishing a quality control system through the Information System for monitoring the audit process.
During the second working day, a visit to the Čakovec Regional Office was organized, where the planning of an audit based on risk-based selection was discussed together with practical examples and the application of appropriate IT tools was demonstrated.
During the meeting, areas of common interest were identified and ways of continuing bilateral cooperation between the State Audit Office of the Republic of Croatia and the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine were agreed.
